People who love anime characters

what do you think of them? there are people who married them and i don't remember legally or not.
but i don't get them. what do you think of them?
 
It's their life and they are not hurting anyone. We shouldn't be discussing about things like this which can come across as offensive, to some people. I wouldn't want to say this in general but they must have been betrayed by others before

i understand that but it is extreme. they marry a hologram which is weird
many people are doing it but it's still strange to me
 
It's nothing serious man.
Everyone has that in Japan. There are many people who like anime characters and it's not strange anymore.
 
I to enjoy anime women at time over real women, not sure why, most likely due to features I'll never see in real life but it is what it is.

Sadly for Japan its wrecking their future.

it's very difficult to understand but i understand this.
i don't think anyone can be so beautiful and handsome but it's just fantasy
 
For someone who is always going on about people here have something against yaoi and shounen-ai you seem to not be very accepting of how people live their lives. I don't know, maybe it is just the way you word your posts.

i draw a clear line between them.
do you think it's alright to have fantasies even after knowing that it's just a fantasy.
living in a fantasy is bad but dreaming about it is good.
i don't get where you are going with this

Alright sure its weird but who cares why would you concern your self so much with how other people live their lives when it literally has no effect on you.

Escapism is where people live their life through anime (or anything really could be video games as well) because they can not get the experience in real life. Anime is literally marketed towards these people.

i think you are referring to weaboo but not for anime fans.
not many people does that. i like fantasizing about my favorite characters but those fantasies never involve me

It doesn't matter what is true or not that is how the average non anime fan views anime fans.

over they get into anime, they would change their opinions very soon. i see that happen before which can be very disgusting

How ironic that you don't like that people have a bad opinion of the thing you like but this whole thread started because you didn't like what other people liked because you thought it was weird.

people like things when they give something a try but it should be real.
if it's not real, i don't see how it can be an obsession
