People are always in Kimono in anime

I don't think I know any such characters to be honest.
I will have to look through whatever I have watched so far. Let me check and list them all out later

you see them in old anime
and i think inns and all have this culture and you see those characters a lot in those episodes star

Sorry thout you were asking about Kimonos.
no no lol
and i am sure it's very different but i was under a biased impression that people at inns with pools usually where kimonos in anime, all the time.

Demon skeith is right
Usually people who work in other things like farming or even taking care of shops also have kimonos.

That was because in this Manga, it was tried to portray a more daily life scenario, that's why all five of them used to wear kinomo.

People don’t wear kimonos everyday in Japan. They were wearing them because they’re rakugo performers and they traditionally wear kimonos.

Oh I see. That's a traditional outfit. So that's why they use it for rakugo performance. But is it compulsory in Japanese tradition to wear kimonos for such performance?

Idk if it’s actually required, but I’ve never not seen a performer not wear them. It’s probably one of those situations where it’s not explicitly stated, but you wouldn’t be taken seriously if you didn’t.
