own all the episodes

one piece will become one of the few largest animes to date whenever it nears the end of its run and I have no doubt one day it will reach a episode count over 1000.

Do you think you will own all episodes (dvd or digitally) one day?
 
Well, I download all the episodes of an anime before watching it, and yes, I'll surely own all the episodes of OP(digitally, ofcourse)...............

If one were to get it digitally, all in HD, I'm sure you need at least 2 TB external storage.

Not necessarily.............I have all the episodes of OP(and Film Z and Strong World), and it takes up only 40 GB of space................Well, of course, I don't download it in HD............

If one were to get it digitally, all in HD, I'm sure you need at least 2 TB external storage.

Not necessarily.............I have all the episodes of OP(and Film Z and Strong World), and it takes up only 40 GB of space................Well, of course, I don't download it in HD............

HD would be adding about an extra 200 MB per episode and a lot more for a movie. So some amount of TB would be needed.

Well, the maximum amount of space that a HD episode consumes in streaming sites, as far as I know, is 165 MB..............So, I guess, right now, it hardly consumes 110 GB.............
 
I don't know how stream sites work, but I often download anime and anything under 200MB really isn't HD. Not for a 24 min anime

Not really seeing how 720p episodes tend to be around 300 - 400 MB a piece, so 1000 episodes would come down to 300 - 400 GB.

Personally I don't save stuff: download, watch, delete. I don't see any need to hoard it since I won't be wathing it again anyhow.
 
That would be a lot of copies to own since they have so many episodes. You would have to have a lot of space for them in your house. I might own some of them (digitally) but I doubt I would own all of them.

it will even exceed 2000 episodes if oda is to live another 20 years xD
