Hello everyone!

This is important. So make sure that you read everything present in this thread. We are going to celebrate our 2nd anniversary for our forum, after 7 months. Let's make 100k posts by then!
In other words, let's celebrate the anniversary with a new and good milestone. It's going to be hard. I know that. After all we need almost 6ok posts in just 7 months.
It's like we will have to post, about 10k posts a month. That is we will have to post 10000 posts in just 30 days. So, we need 1000 posts in just 3 days.
That comes down to nearly 350 posts a day. On an average we get just 80 posts a day and that 350 post milestone is just too huge.
Still, let's try to do this! Also, try to concentrate more on anime and manga world discussions. We are not a simple general discussions forum after all. If I see any of you guys making posts only in forum games section, I am gonna disable that section for good.
So, make sure that you are posting valid stuff. 
If you do this and if we reach this goal, I am gonna allow you to make one change(nothing bad) to this forum. Also, I am going to solve issues within 24 hours after that.
In other words, I am gonna offer my full-time service for this forum.
I don't want to be the only one struggling to keep this forum alive.

This might be an impossible task but if everyone wants to do it, then they can achieve that :D
Did you see the global stats for today. We are almost half-way to the goal :D
 
I am sorry, Clara. It is a great milestone wish and all, but it is really discouraging you want to have cake and eat it too. You expect people to post 2x or 3x the usual amount, to keep going for over half a year and even so you restrict them not to use certain areas too much and stuff. Choose one or the other. Either you're for quality or quantity.

I would love to see the community get more active and I sure find heartwarming people are going to give their best to accomplish this. It is a great goal idea, to reach a milestone for it but I think it is way too high to ask members to get 350 days and only if that is reach them then you will become fully active in the community. It reallys ends a bad vibe to newbies like me. Now, I know you from outside and I know you care and are active, you're a cool person in my book, which is why I am being honest that it sounded bad to me. Please don't take it personal. I can see the intention is to grow the community and I can respect that. XD
 
Good luck with your project! I hope it turns out well. It's nice to have goals and strive to achieve them.

It is not like granny will kill anyone if they don't make enough posts.
As for closing the games section. That don't usually happen now in fact there was a time when a certain someone (Clara herself actually...)was the one who only posted in that section :laugh: But she is a lot more active and dedicated now :D

There was a time when she wasn't at all...now I can see her doing better than before :D
 
Let's just concentrate on the goal first.
We didn't meet the threshold :(
So, today, we will have to make 700 posts rather than just 350 posts.

Well I was on NBF & N-spot but both places sorta died out :/
The goal does seem too much but eh,not harm in trying.

An year isn't that long. Died out? isn't nspot still active? @MelloLily is it true? Admins are aiming for the impossible. Don't mind them.

You may not like my suggestion but for that you need to have forums games threads and those threads post should count. I dont say it unachievable with current set up what I'm saying its far easier that way .. At any rate I'll try my best to help out , as I'm SERVO after all. There is a reason why I chose this name some 7 years ago
