Other Fruit for Luffy

What other devil fruit do you feel would have worked out for Luffy?

No idea......Gomu Gomu no Mi feels like it was made exclusively for Luffy(maybe because I've watched 700 episodes of OP)........

may be the mera-mera fruit.
even sabo can control that fruit so why not luffy? xD

I can somehow see luffy being good with ice or maybe lightning.

Maybe they should make a reboot of the series, with an alternate universe in which Luffy eats another type of fruit and gets different powers...
