Other animals of big size in AOT

Do you think anything else can help humans to fight against titans? Giants birds of there are any or something else like poisonous trees.
 
To be honest, if there are any animals like that, they would have used them by now.
Humankind is limited to a certain area because of the titans and it's highly impossible for them to go and search for the new species that might come in handy during fights.
 
I think the author kept it simple to it only being humans who could go full size, though some do take on animal like appearances/stances.
