Original anime better than remake

Is there such a series where the original anime is better than the remake?
I can't really think of one to be honest.

The original Kino no Tabi(2003) is better than the 2017 version. Just couldn't watch the remake(technically not a remake but at least half the episodes retread the same stories from what I know.
Also a lot of people like the original Neon Genesis Evangelion more than the rebuild movies that have been releasing over the past few years, with the 4th one yet to come, though I haven't watched it yet and I plan to soon.
Sailor Moon as well, lot of people didn't like the Sailor Moon Crystal remake.

Though personally I can only vouch for Kino no Tabi.

I see.
I always thought remakes are better because of fullmetal alchemist brotherhood and Hunter x Hunter.

Those are the most popular example for sure along with Hellsing Ultimate.

Yeah I know you said that to me a few days back.
I forgot about that.
The same goes to fullmetal alchemist too. Now, even with blue exorcist, it is a bit hard to believe

Blue Exorcist doesn't have a remake though.

Blue exorcist Kyoto saga.
I suppose it's similar to Hellsing ultimate following the original storyline

No it picks up after after the events of episode 17/18. It's technically a sequel. It's just that everything that happens after episode 17 in season 1 is not part of the manga(and was also complete trash).

It's of 25 Episodes right?
I can't believe they made 6-7 filler episodes in an anime of 25 episodes. I take it that you didn't like the filler episodes at all.

Season 1 has 25 episodes yes. I wouldn't call them filler, they are more like anime original.
I guess the production committee ordered 25 episodes and they didn't have enough content for that so they had to make their own ending, what sucks is that whatever they did is worth several seasons of content. Same as the original FMA I guess, which was original for its last 20 episosdes(but it is liked by a lot of people).

Yeah I agree and I haven't seen FMA but it's neither rushed or dragged out from what I know but it's original and radically different from what happened in the manga. I am curious about it since it's a lot more popular in Japan than FMAB and was extremely popular in the early 2000's before FMAB started airing.

I have watched both the versions and I really can't pick one between them.
Both of them are very good in their own right :D

i like ordinal ai no kusabi better than the remake they made in 2012.
they haven't even completed that and left it halfway which is just bad and sad
