Unexpected tbh cause only OVA was mostly expected from this anime but nope, 8man and the girls are back for another season. If anybody is in the same boat as me, I bet you'd be hyped. Countdown starts.
 
It was announced quite some time back actually, but it makes sense because the LN series itself is about to get over soon and I was hoping we'd get one. Hopefully we get the tone and the vibe of season 1 and the art and animation of season 2.

Yeah... This is the final season of this anime as well. Have heard it also has more screentime about his sister in this season. And ofcourse who 8man ends up with although it's pretty obvious.

i got pissed at that too. rem gave him everything and he didn't even care for her much. rem and ram are very popular, even more popular than emilia among the fans

I'm not, he clearly is desperately in love with Emilia and he has no obligation to reciprocate love, he can still remain friends.

Wait what I don't remember something like that. And he did save her a lot of times and killed himself when her existence was erased by the whales.

when he got tired of the life ending again and again. he wanted to give up and when rem refused he even asked her, does she truly love him and why is she refusing a chance to be with him.
 

Fine by me tbh.. It will be a genuine ending if it happens, I hope.

They have a spin-off actually but in main plot line, nope.. And yeah, Rem would be a great waifu material.. still, Emilia is not bad too... She saved Subaru initially, she gave him a place in her house to stay, she tried her best to socialize.. I mean, She was loathed by people all her life just cause he resembled like somebody evil.. not fair either. And the last episode, shows that they are well suited for each other.. Emilia apologized to Subaru and Subaru's confession moved her as well..

emilia doesn't look beautiful to me and i don't think it's just me who thinks that.
only in akane ga kill, main protagonist got a good girl than the mail female.

There are Emilia x Subaru shippers, just like Rem x Subaru shippers.. it's not about looking beautiful here.. both Emilia and Rem are overloaded with beauty.. Subaru treasure them both.. which is kind of a happy ending tbh.

i don't think it's a happy ending. you have never been in love when it's not returned.
subaru can't give rem what she needs. she can't be happy

This point is already discussed. She outright denied the chance to be with him. Not his fault.
