Opinions on Beyblade anime?

It's not something you ever hear people talking about even though the game took over the world for a little while. Every school had people bringing their own ring and beyblades and playing during breaks

Why do people not talk about it like they do... Yu-gi-oh which is also a game that was popular

I used to love Beyblade when I was a kid, and you're right that it's not talked about very much, especially compared to other popular franchises at the time.
My theory would be that as far as the regular school kid goes, it went Pokemon -> Yu-Gi-Oh! -> Beyblade, so it might just feel less special to them since Pokemon & YGO would have been their introduction to anime so they'd feel way different to anything they had watched before.

I'm pretty sure I even still have 1 or 2 of my old Beyblades lying around somewhere, but I used to mix-match the parts so even if I do I don't have any 100% complete ones.

That's a good point. Pokemon started me but i was never into playing Yu-Gi-Oh as i found the cards way to expensive for me at the time. Me and some friends considered getting a Beyblade arena and some Beyblades but everything is just cheap knock offs now whereas i'd want the real thing

I like it
and i used to play it as well but that's way back then and now i don't even have any beyblades left with me
