Opening song? Or ending song?

Generally.. i like ending songs better than opening song in anime, i only like some of opening songs like from Ranma1/2, Sailor Moon, Dragon Ball GT and some other. But if i talk about ending song, i like tons of them!

For me, opening song sounds homogenous, most of them are cheerful and hype-ish, well something like that, you know what i mean. Meanwhile.. ending song have more variation and genre, more colorful, i can heard remix, accoustic, pop, rock, jazzy, and sometimes the song didn't have corelation with the series haha..

So yeah, i'm more of ending song guy than opening song guy
 
i don't have any preferences
i like whatever it catchy and i like all the one piece songs. they are always good
 
When it comes to the 90 second music video, I prefer the OP, it has all the work put it, the animation, the artstyle, the fore-shadowing, some amount of story-telling. 
As for the actual songs itself I have no preference. I have more OP's than ED's though. More often than not ED's tend to be a lot more on the melodic or melancholic side in my opinion.

I don't download the short version either but what you see is the short version in the anime right. There's a difference, one is an actual music video.

Yes full version is always fans made haha.. some are interesting, some just add a picture, some other use unrelated picture

As for full version I usually just download the audio or convert it the video is always gonna be useless yeah.
 
In general terms, i like more the OP that the ED in anime, there are some specific series that i prefer the ED, like in Rurouni Kenshin, or the recent Tejina Senpai! and some others.

Oh yeah! That's an iconic Opening in anime history, but to me, Heart of Sword, the 3rd ending is what defines Samurai X, because a childhood friend gave me a CD with some anime music for my birthday, and that song was in that CD :D

I actually bought CD compilation of Samurai X soundtrack. Of course piracy hehe..
 
I always watch opening songs man.
Sometimes I skip the endings and for me, opening songs are the best
 
you should watch ending songs too
most of them are amazing and listen to one piece songs. they are always good

Really? Never skip it? Two or three episodes, opening is still exciting but after that i always skip the opening haha..
 
Yeah, opening songs are often way more cool than ending songs!  But I also guess that opening songs are more important because its the introduction of every episode!
Ending songs I sometimes really like, but often it are for me kinda B songs.

I remember Naruto and Bleach having mega good songs! Also Dragonball also has nice ones!
And the Macross series are just full of amazing songs! FIRE BOMBER!! 

After all thanks to the opening songs I started to like Japanese music and now I support various Japanese bands :3


If an anime is new I always looking forward to the opening song, and If I do like the song, I'll support the artist.

It's just one or two minutes man.
I don't mind watching them for every episode unless the story got very intense.
