One Piece Episodes 872-875 Discussion

No episode this Sunday, 876 comes out on 17th. Thought I'd post a thread for these 4 episodes.
Pekoms is probably dead but who knows though Oda has a thing for the Minks dying. Though these 4 episodes have been a deus-ex-machina fest with the Germa brothers and the Sun Pirates but at least Oda set them up pretty neatly in the plot. Kinda hated the musical number Big Mom did and everything about her was pretty disgusting but at least no "Weddinngu Caikeee" anymore so I'm happy about not having to hear her voice anymore. Also looks like they are gonna go underwater looking at the preview for the next episode which means this arc will probably end this month. Finally.
 
I don't want pekoms to die man. He had done a lot and he almost died when that father (forgot his badge)went to get sanji. He deserves better man.
 
I haven't seen them yet.
It's nice to know that we don't have to hear big mom's screaming anymore. I will have to catch up with these episodes soon.

I don't mind spoilers all that much.
I am tired of the story progress too and this arc is too slow paced for me.

Oda killed that other tiger and I forgot his name. I hated the moment and still peros lived that explosion. I don't like it man

I mean One Piece doesn't have a lot of deaths honestly so there has to be some amount of stakes involved especially when the Strawhats are dealing with life and death situations every single time.

I agree man but what did pedro do to deserve the death, when it's not seen that much in one piece?
If it's Killa kill, I wouldn't have said anything man

Not like anybody deserves it Ace or Whitebeard. It is what it is.

We don't know much about them man.
No one really cared much and we know that they are sacrificial pawns and are going to die, to make Luffy stronger

That's pretty much the first time I heard someone say that.
And it's not like we know a lot about Pedro either.

I am sorry if you are disappointed in me man.
Couldn't help it but we got to know a lot about Pedro through pekoms and carrot

And we had a good number of episodes dedicated to Ace's flashback after the Marineford arc got over.

I don't remember much man and it's been a long time. I will have to watch that arc again. I am being biased but I liked Pedro man and he died in vain

It was like a 10 episode flashback detailing the childhood of Ace, Luffy and Sabo, and them being raised by Garp and Dadan, and the disappearance of Sabo, and Ace setting sail to become a pirate.

I remember that man.
But I was not disappointed and Ace had to die for Luffy to become the pirate king

Not really I don't get why people are treating him and his death like a Mcguffin.

Everyone started a war to save him and still he died along with many others.
That's a bad way to leave man
 
I just watched episode 873...
Even pekoms died....ugh.....I really wish luffy had not left him like that to die :sigh:
