this is disappointing.
why are they using all the old episode material? are they trying to save money or is it still following manga?
 
You know how toei works man.
They would milk what they can get from one piece and we can't do much after following the anime for these many episodes
 
Well the anime is close to the manga, so some padding/filler of some kind is called for.

Also isn't this the episode featuring Kizaru's new voice? Haven't seen it yet, but I hope the new VA does a good job with him.

I haven't noticed man.
Who would have thought people would remember something that long ago? The last time I heard from kizaru, it's during Ace's rescue man
 
I haven't watched it yet.
Well by skipping the past scenes, I might actually be able to watch it in less time

Kizaru had a very unique VA going for him, shame the man passed away. Just wondering if the new VA is living up to expectations.

i am not talking about the va, but that voice grated on my nerves and i am sure it is part of the plot, but i never appreciated it.
it's scratchy
