One Piece Episode 870 Discussion

Wow first time I remember a fight in One Piece with Sakuga animation. Maybe it has happened before but this was a super awesome episode with probably the best fight scene in the entire anime. Pretty obvious that they brought in a veteran animator from the studio(Koudai Watanabe). I can't remember the last good quality episode in the last several months. Also sucks that we have to go back to low quality episodes from next week.
Also the fight between Luffy and Katakuri is gonna get over next week according to the preview.

I loved the animation too man and is Rayleigh in fish man island now?

He's in Sabaody Archipelago. It's the mangrove forest where Kuma separated the Straw Hats before the time-skip.

Thanks man and it looked lovely.
I remember even the straw hats liked that land. If only reyleigh joined straw hats, this arc wouldn't have dragged this long

Yes man but they would have had guidance and everyone in strawhats is too young to know better.

Yeah but there's also motive and drive. Rayleigh has already done everything he ever wanted, and Whitebeard hadn't yet been to Raftel.

That's because he is with the pirate king man.
He couldn't have done that by himself.
 

Just wanted to say that age doesn't matter much man.
They are all a little old than luffy's crew and there are many older members in pirate king's crew

I think everyone during that era associated with the Pirate King were no older than 30 when he set out to Raftel.

Luffy's crew is not older than 20 man. But I agree with you that that might not be very old before.
Do you think it's best to have someone old in the crew? I do
 
I loved this episode. I wasn't really a fan of the music but I wish the animation was longer. In my opinion, Luffy vs. Crocodile had one of the best fight soundtrack. Luffy vs. Doflamingo wasn't bad either.

But it's worth the wait man.
 
but who would have thought even buggy is in roger's crew, even if it is just like an errand boy? and it's good to see only straw hats trying to go for raftel.
brook is 90 years old and that's not young

Actually almost every pirate in the New World is trying to get to Raftel.

how many of them would have gone and get the map fragment copy from big mom, even if they had known?
they wouldn't do it and they care for my their lives more
