Number of bots?

I see Bing and AdSense bots always. Sometimes I also see Baidu, duckduckgo, Google and other bots. It's the same for other forums too.
Do every website has it's own bot?

I understand that and I always find them here. I have never seen any active forum without these bots.
Then a thought occurred to me that every website might have their own bot to indeed.
 
Well, it's not possible to have dedicated bots for all the active websites. We display the visitors for the past 15 minutes. 
So, they might leave and come back at some point.

Basically bots come in, gather and complie needed new links and place them on the search engine so people can find this site. I know on some forum software you can hide them and some you can't.
 
I wonder if they bother you guys.
If so, do let us know

I see. Well Clara might do something, if everyone wants them to be invisible.
 

I am not completely against them man.
It's amazing how much those bots stay in each and every forum as if they are dedicated only to that website.
 
Well, if you don't want to hide them, then it's fine to leave them as it is.
We are already having too much work as it is.

I also wonder about this. I always see those names when i come in

That's really interesting but is it not possible for hackers to use the bots. I mean i don't know much about this stuff just asking.
