Anyone aware of anything worth mentioning?  How has anime changed since last year?  So do you like the new stuff or is your opinion different?

I'm watching Katana Maidens right now which is really good. Think Bleach, but with schoolgirls and not so high focus on stronger powers.

Death gods, different worlds and ghosts. That's bleach in short. Does these katana maidens have these?

A Place Further Than the Universe, Megalo Box are the best anime from Winter 2018 and Spring 2018 respectively.
I like other anime from these seasons but these are the best.

I don't plan on watching anything new this season or this year. As long as the anime is good, I don't care when it got released

Your forgot flcl, food wars, violetevergarden and some other anime, you have been talking about much lately. I am going to watch a place further than the universe tomorrow.

FLCL is from the year 2000. Food Wars season 1 is from 2015. I don't want to include sequels.
And, yes I liked Violet Evergarden, but I was only talking about the best anime from the two seasons, not the ones that are just good.

Some sequels are good and worth mentioning but many sequels don't make the same hype as that of their prequels.

Those who care about sequels are already following it so it's not worth mentioning unless it's something really really hype, like HeroAca or Attack on Titan or One Punch Man.

Not really. They are plenty. They are just not as much as new ones. And, as I said, if you care about it, you'll already be following it.

That may be so. But it wouldn't hurt to have their names and I didn't know that d gray man got a sequel until recently.
So it would be news to some people

That's because the d gray man sequel was a disaster. They didn't even sell it on bluray. And the mangaka was incredibly unhappy about it, and even took to Instagram about it.

I see. I am not aware of that at all. Well, is just 13 episodes. Hopefully, iI will be able to watch it soon.
If I don't like this month's selected anime that is

it did at least have some decently well made sound tracks.

Did you watch the second season completely? Even if it had good soundtracks, if it leaves behind too much story, then it wouldn't make much sense.

i don't think he watched it star
and sound tracks alone can't make up for a good story for most of the anime fans.
