Most selfless character in anime

who is the most selfless character in anime?
will it be done main protagonist from a popular anime or will it be a supporting character or will it be an anti protagonist character?
 
Most of the protagonists in anime are selfless. If they are selfish, we wouldn't be watching them in the first place.
I can't really think of just one character among those main protagonists
 
If I am being very honest to myself, characters who die for others by taking an attack that wasn't meant for them, are the most selfless characters in anime. There aren't many characters but you can find them.

how is he any different from naruto, luffy and other main protagonists?
they would give up everything to save someone too

So far the most selfless character that I have come across is Lelouche from code geass. I mean he is not completely selfless but he has never benefitted in any way from all that he has done and everything that he did do was solely for his sister.

for his sister he is willingly abandoned many people and his always wish is to protect his sister.
i don't get him but i liked the anime

At times his character does make you wonder but at times you just love him

that's very true.
he is still a kid when he had gone through a lot and even when he is fighting, he is still a teenager. it's normal for him to be selfish

I agree. He has been thought way to much for a kid and still remains 100 percent for his sister.

yes and i wonder if he truly loves nunnaly or just think of her as his responsibility.
i want him to think of himself as a human before being a brother or a son

if she is a just a responsibility then it would be even more painful for him to give up his own life just for her.

Nah...his entire existence was dedicated to her. He genuinely loved and cared for her. Never once did I sense anything else for her from him. He is a really great big bro

if only there was an alternate ending where he could be happy with his sister exists, it would be good
