More latest posts in the index?

It would be better without browsing all the latest posts, every time. Can we increase the number of posts that are being displayed on the index? Is it possible?
 
We are already displaying 15 posts KuranKaname. I wouldn't recommend displaying even more as it might make the page clustered with more information
 
More is better since that is the main way I navigate this forum and on some days with lots of new threads others get buried which I might not see for a few days until it gets another reply.

then you could have said 25 or may be more than that. but thanks may be they will consider increasing those posts. don't you check your threads at all? you get alerts for them

Well, don't you think more than 15 can make the forum look a bit different and desperate, Risk?

Well, 25 is a very big number Angel.

Well depends, I've seen some forums index their whole site but recently threads or bumps. How many we have now is fine but some days when there are a lot of threads I miss some that get buried and who cares how it looks or if it looks desperate I'd rather performance over looks.

I see. There aren't that many posts daily. But I agree that it cab be useful. I will talk to others and try to increase it to 20 posts.
By the way, you could check for new posts and today's posts here. Are you aware of those buttons?

I have increased it to 25 guys.
Let me know if you think it's too gaudy. I don't really like it that much....but it's not just me whose opinion matters.

In the home page, there'll be two buttons, "view new posts" and "view latest posts" in the desktop version in the top right corner, and if you click "view latest posts" you can go to that link. You don't need to save it and use it everytime.
In the mobile version you'll just see two buttons and click the one on the right(or the middle). in the top right corner of the home page.

it looks good. people won't miss the posts of interesting threads now and if you think latest posts or new posts are good, then not many would go and use them. i won't use them much myself.
 
There are many posts and I never expected to see that many posts. I don't think it looks good after seeing it. May be we could reduce it like before?

Thank you for your inputs Kuran. We will think about it.
If many users would want it to be reverted, then we will be making the changes accordingly.
 
i really like it. i don't want you to change that number now. you considered everything before changing and i don't want to think it will change again

We are not fixated on anything angel. Based on the situation changes, we do change things to match.
We have already implemented the change you requested.
We will be going with that unless more users are unhappy with it.
