Mods - Exploits - Glitches

When playing a game for the first time do you mod it to change it up find exploits or glitches?

or

do you play/beat the game a few times before any of the above to spice it up.

For me, I have to beat the game 2-3 times before even thinking about modding, exploiting or glitching. Otherwise, it's no fun currently I mod Skyrim due to owning it on Xbox 360 - PS3 PS4 and PC I've modded it so that the difficulty is basically Dark Souls level++

What games do you mod.
What games do you find exploits in?
What games do you look for glitches?

(Differences between glitches and exploits:

Glitches: A fault in a game popularly used by speedrunners that go into places they shouldn't be at their current stage A popular example is the corner glitch in Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time where you can basically skip the entire game if done correctly.

Exploits: In video games, an exploit is the use of a bug, game system, rates, hit boxes, or speed, etc. by a player to their advantage in a manner not intended by the game's designers. A Popular example and one I'ver personally used, When wearing the Dragon head Stone and pressing a few buttons rapidly it allows the user to infinitely use an item they had set to their quick action such as Souls the main element in leveling up in Dark Souls from the start of the game can max out in a matter of minutes. (Actually, hours I remember having my game on all night so I can get enough souls to get maxed stats I AM NOT ASHAMED!@)

Mods: Should explain itself.

I don't play games so, I am not so sure what they even mean.
Are they like cheats that gamers often talk about? Like shortcuts?

Exploits are things that can speed up your progression but AREN'T supposed to be in the game.
Glitches are bugs that occur when developers do not test everything that can break games,
mods are made by game company's when the game supports mods (EX:Skyrim Special Edition) or if players are willing to mod on their own there are many communities out there for helping or downloading pre-made mods.
mods can add more content to games or make things easier on the player.

Thank you for the information ace.
What are cheats then? How are they different from mods?

in my view, Cheats are things like "Instant kill" "Unlimited money" and such, and usually, require a code or sequence to unlock them while mods can be GRAPHICAL only as in providing better graphics or character design.

I don't mod but I used to make use of cheat codes and trainers during the PS2 error games, in my PC of course. But, since the last generation(PS3, X360 era), I play games without any cheats or trainers or mods.

Vanilla playthroughs are the best unless you gather a few thousand hours of gameplay ;)

No for me it's usually the main narrative and then I'm done. If the game is very good, I play it again but not immediately, after I've played 2-3 other games. The first Assassin's Creed was the only game in which I tried to collect all the extras and complete all the side missions, though that's an exception. I pretty much check out after I complete the main story.

Looking through sights of bow (Standing and Sneaking sneaking is just crouching)

Crouching Note: It does have a more detailed sight than standing which is good

I'm game on the PS4 so it's impossible to mod a game...at the moment anymore. In terms of glitches, I have only done them on GTA Online to make more cash

Skyrim Special edition has mods, true not as good as PC but still useful and great none-the-less

I don't mod games anymore. Spend to much time doing it and not playing. Not that you can do to much to many game anymore.
