Anyone heard of this amazing piece of technology? If not, it's a headset Microsoft is working on that is much like the VR headset Valve is helping to create, however this will create real-time holograms.

It looks really cool and it's a piece of technology I'm really looking forward to. Has anyone else heard of the Microsoft Hololens? If so, are you looking forward to its release?

I hope this will turn out to be bigger than the Google Glass. Everyone had high expectations from it but now, a year later, nobody is talking about it anymore.
 
It features augmented reality and runs windows 10. It is able to show holograms of windows 10 apps as these apps are designed to be able run on all devices running windows 10 from 4" phone to the huge surface hub and the hololens
 
I am so excited about Holograms. I always watched them on many movies and animes but in real life, it's still a dream we chase for a lifetime.
I hope holograms life can become true before I die. That would be AWESOME!
