I get this message pop up but I never saw any saved message when I visit the same thread without posting the previous composed message.
Would it really get saved somewhere?

I wonder about it myself from time to time. May be it gets saved in drafts.
Have you ever checked your drafts?

No it's the stuff you type in the quick reply box. It gets copied to the clipboard.

Really?
I am not so sure hope to process this. I don't remember copying things from this message, while I was using my computer.
I wonder if it is applicable only for phones.

I do remember closing a tab accidentally before I pressed 'post reply' and the phone automatically started suggesting the words that I previously typed after I entered the first word. Don't know about PC.

Oh I think it doesn't work like that. It gets saved in the phone's memory perhaps? It doesn't matter honestly. The only awful thing would be if a long post gets lost, otherwise it's immaterial.

Once I closed my browser window and when I opened it again, whatever I have typed is still there. It's not only for phones man. I don't know how it works but if there is a way, we can see where it is saved, it would save us time.

I see.
I suppose I might have noticed that a bit....but I thought it's because of the smartphone capability to learn words.

Yes but it's obviously not possible for it to predict the exact sequence of words can it. That only happens if it has something to do with the nature of the website.

it would have been great if we can save the posts we have already typed.
is it possible to save them somewhere?

Unless it's advanced and you haven't modified the settings.
It's surprising but I haven't noticed this till now.

I should make use of it somehow. If it gets stored somewhere, we wouldn't have to type the same things again.
I like whatever it offers
