The Toonami run of this pretty entertaining anime finished tonight and overall I really enjoyed and was really surprised this was a 2018 made series and has the art style of a anime from the 90s. Something I really respect and fit well for this series though the ending was... really off putting.

Anyone here see this?

Good series, I wish the ending was a bit better I think it kinda lost steam after the first 2-3 episodes but it's still entertaining and has a kickass soundtrack.

I mean honestly, the series was okay. Its just sad that it didn't pack as much of a punch like hajime no ippo, they have robot arms and so on. Yet every punch felt weak.

Now i know that it doesn't sound like a big car crash when you punch someone, but after watching hajime no ippo. And sport anime as a whole, it wasn't something that would keep me at the edge of my seat. And idk, the soundtrack was okay. But i feel like it was wasted on that show.

No hate, just my personal opinion, hajime no ippo is by far the better boxing anime so if u havent, check it out.

if you are very interested in sports anime, you should check out haikyuu. it's best sports anime no one had ever seen and we will be getting a new season very soon

Omg yaaas
Watched that one, its so damn good. They also made a show about running, with the same art style, and i just love it  It doesn't go too heavy on the sport but more towards character development

Check it out "run with the wind" or if u want the Japanese name kaze ga tsuyoku fuiteiru

glad to know that you watched it and it's a great one. if you liked it, you might like kuroku no basket too. try it and it's basketball. run with the wind is in my list. i will watch it now.

i don't get what you mean as i am not much of a sports fan myself but i have read clara's threads for sports anime and she is crazy about sports anime. keppeki danshi aoyama kun, prince of stride, haikyuu, kuroko no basuke, slam dunk, one outs, there are many anime.
i liked one outs a lot. have you seen that too?

it's a very good anime and it's better than kuroko no basket but it can't beat haikyuu.
it got selected for group watch here and most of the people watched it. you don't watch? there are many good ongoing anime, promised neverland, boku no hero academia, attack on titan, and many more.

I think i should elaberate on not watching too much, i use to watch, a LOT.
Now i do keep up with some animes nowadays such as Aot, Hero acadamia, dorororo, jojo, run with the wind and love is war. But back in the days i watched p much every anime that was out there, so thats what has calmed down

It did kind of get sluggish in the middle, but it did seem to pick up at the end until its cringing ending.
