Manga vs. comic books

Why do you prefer manga over Western comic books or graphic novels? In your opinion, why is manga better than comics made by DC Comics, Marvel and Dark Horse?
 
I prefer Manga over Comics because of the better storylines..........But, DC is an exception.........They generally have a mature storyline(with a lot of gore), especially when the storyline focuses on Batman...........
 
@MadaraUchiha, I think you are one of the few people on OnePieceForum who knows stuff about Western comic books. By the looks of it, almost everyone else around here is only interested in anime and manga. Congratulations, mate! :goodluck1:

Well, there's bound to be someone who is interested in something or the other in a forum..........
 
Currently reading Nightwing comic(the new 52 version). Comics are good. Marvel tend to be little light hearted while DC has a tense atmosphere. But the thing is they lack something and that something is peculiar to mangas and manhwas (cuz the breakers is super awesome)
