Manga and Anime, 2 different side of coin

I like to read manga and watch anime since i was a kid. Since early 2000's everything change, as anime grow popularity in where i live, there are lot of merchant well anime VCD and DVD, it was quite cheap also because they sell piracy stuff. Long story short anime businessman become booming and i was one of the guy who follow the trend to watch more anime.

But started from from about 6 years ago i comeback to read more manga. Why is that? Because at that time i move around a lot, and i still relied on physical DVD to watch anime, well.. let's just say there are lot of difficulties. So i come across online manga site to read, i begin to read again, even the title that i've seen on anime.

It's quite interesting that there is always differences between the manga and anime version. After reading and comparing for a while i guess i'll give more portion into manga since then. Why? Because i think manga is usually the original work and anime is the adaptation one, so the story in the manga must be the most original one. Sure visual representation is more exciting than read page by page, but i appreciate original story than modified story, so.. if a title have manga and anime version i choose to read the manga first.

I think that there is a similar thread to this somewhere...you should search first before creating threads.
Just telling you cause it's how I use to get into trouble when I first joined
I prefer manga as well..anime is pretty good but as you said the story in manga seems so much better

I do find similar post but it's about preference between completed manga and on-going anime version. Well i think it's kinda different because here i talk about the story content, but anyway i'll search first before write, hehe.. thank you

i like manga too but i prefer anime.
if an anime is good, i pick the manga and it happened so many times.
