Main character being a serious one

Is there any anime that don't have comedy characters for the main character?
Like seriously?
All the anime that I know good easy going main characters

Bleach. Ichigo isn't like Naruto or natsu, Luffy.
In vampire knights you would find serious main protagonists

Death Note comes to mind. Both main charactwrs seem pretty serious.
