Hmm....I guess they are up for no good....
Even cowboy bebop and gangsta got some mafia stuff in them....I don't really like that concept...

Gangsters....illegal stuff....oh man.

Anyone feel the same here?
 
As in 'The mafia' anime? Kateky? Hitman Reborn!, baccano, 91 days and if you search, you will probably get many more names. Even the jormungunad that you watched also fits in this category

I thought I watched baccano... But I don't remember the story.

Yes yes, watch an anime called "gangsta" and complain that it has mafia stuff. Very good.
Personally I like mafia stories because it's only in them that you can find good portrayals of characters who are struggling to toe the line between good and evil, contemplate morality, and think about how far they can go, whether what they are doing is human at all.
The movie, The Godfather(especially Godfather Part II) is an excellent, excellent example of this.

I don't think a human should kill another human and beat up another human.
We have law to do it.

Mafia = crime syndicate Clarie. Obviously they are gonna break the law. They are not Gandhi or Budha. They are criminals.
And since Mafias are a real world thing and make for exciting stories, people make them.
And you haven't heard of The Godfather eh? Are you disconnected from the rest of the world or something.

Much like real life the mafia is the corner stone of many stories because its easy to work with. And its a concept I always enjoy seeing played out.

Damn it..I have been waking up at 4 in the morning. I really don't have the patience to baby sit you kiddo. When I said sugarcoat it means stuff related to conscience. They don't have one and even if they pretend they got one... It's not true. You know the stuff they say about people.. who don't know much... Like they are living under a tiny rock or something

What part of "they are criminals" sound like I'm sugercoating it?
I only said it makes for interesting stories.
And no you are wrong. No one is completely evil or good. You know where something like that exists? In a movie or an anime. Come to the real world.

Criminal is for namesake. Let's see if I can explain this so even you can understand it.
Some innocent folks are often fixed up in some stuff and face punishment.... Where as people in mafia are just animals and nothing more.
I don't know why you think good people don't exist except in anime....

Try Hitman reborn sometime.
It's really good but it's a bit long when compared to other series and... It's got some supernatural stuff mixed in it
