How many of you heard about this special? Looks interesting but we can guess the outcome. It would be just like Luffy vs usopp
 
Probably, but the situation is more grave this time. It's life or death, and not about pride and a ship, like last time. Anyway, it's gonna be longer than the usual run-time, right?

I don't know much about this but I don't think any killing would take place in the special. I wouldn't be surprised if they were to say, it's all for an act, at the end.

I watched and nothing major takes place but it was an overall improvement in terms of animation and pacing.
 
From where did you get this information? I never heard of any fall special.
Can't wait to see luffy vs sanji even though i know who would win the battle.

I would like to give it a try even if there is nothing constructive can be found in it. I just hope at least it's a bit amusing and the plot is good.

Anyway it's episode 807, 808 so if you haven't put it on hold then you have to watch it. By the by, 807 is mostly filled with flashbacks. Directly watch 808.

It's an episode? From the information in this thread, I assumed, it would be an OVA.

The correct term would be a double episode. It is part of the main series and not an OVA.

Just read an episode synopsis of 807 before watching 808. I still remember it, there's barely 3 minutes of new content in 807.

It's great that I can see more than 13 minutes of anime. I am tired of one piece episodes containing too much past review and the opening song

Oh yes totally. Unavoidable though. They don't make fillers, so the only alternative is to pad as much run-time as possible, since they adapt one chapter per episode.

Fillers are good if they are done correctly. I would prefer filler than dragging a good story.

I would rather they take a break or something, like Gin Tama does. But that would make them lose populairty, I guess. And, fillers being good is wishful thinking. One Piece has 1 good filler arc, the G-10 arc. Other than that, everything else is mediocre.

Then I will have to assume that you didn't like skypiea arc. It's not bad and I never disliked any of the one piece fillers unlike fairy tail fillers.

Skypeia arc is not filler. It's canon. there's 66 chapters of it in One Piece manga.

Filler arcs in One Piece last max. 10 or 11 episodes. I'll list a few:
Warship Island Arc-->8 episodes
G-8 Arc(not G-10, that was a typo earlier)-->11 episodes
Ice Hunter Arc-->10 episodes
