I just saw this episode and looks like Luffy got a double.  Is he trying to fight his own self?

Those are animals turned into doppelgangers by Brulee, using her devil fruit.

Looks like I don't know her as she hasn't been introduced as of yet. Is that man really sanji?

Oh great. I thought for once Sanji turned to dark side with a more deeper plot
Why would he? Oda has always made it a point to show that the Straw Hats have hearts of gold, inspite of being pirates.

Well because of pudding. She is good looking and we are talking about Sanji

He would never betray the crew. Every single one of them are extremely loyal.

Loyal but they have their own goals and their goals happen to coincide with the crew's goal. That is why they are sticking with luffy for the time being.

While they may have been like that when they joined the crew at first, I think they've all become loyal. After all, they faced life and death together. I mean, on multiple occasions, many crew members have almost given up their lives to save their crew-mates.

Even so, do you think zoro will give up in defeating mihwak? What if that process involves leaving crew? I think he would leave as it his life goal and he got another person's goal to fulfill as well

Well, for now, it doesn't look like any of the crew members need to get out of the crew to fulfull their goals. All of their goals are interconnected at this point.

Except Robin. She wanted to find ponyglyphs but she doesn't have to travel with them to raftel

Not really. Robin wants to find poneglyphs, and the rarest ones are called 'Road Poneglyphs'. Finding all 4 of them would lead them to Raftel, and they've found one so far. So, yeah, she may not need to go to Raftel, But, finding all 4 of them is going to be a very long journey. Plus, who knows, maybe Raftel holds a final piece to solving what happened in the void century, which is also something she's after.

I think that involves marines slaughtering too many people or doing illegal stuff.

I hate things that are too predictable.

The conclusion is not always what predictions are all about. It's about the means. We know that Luffy's gonna rescue Sanji, but, how(?), etc. That era is gonna have horrible stuff, but, it depends on how much Oda is able to affect us. Robin's backstory was tragic and impactful, so was Nami's.

That would be a horrible writing on Oda's part, I don't think he would do that xD Plus, marines probably did not even exist back then, World Government was only established during (or after) that century.

When you put it like that it does sound like a big thing. Can't believe where pirates are the good guys in a messed up world
