Logo for an anime

do you think it matters for an anime? i don't get the big deal of it but all the anime have different logos and symbols to represent them.
they are good to look at and but i fail to see the importance

I don't think logo's have been a big deal. It's always either the poster or the trailer. Good posters are usually rare but when they are good they usually immediately grab our attention.

I don't even observe logos.
They don't really have much presence but all the anime names have their own style for the font
