This annual event has it just announced the winners of its 44th awards. There are just three categories: Best Sh?nen Manga; Best Sh?jo Manga; and Best General Manga. The general manga category was not introduced in 1982, whilst the 2003 addition of a children category was merged into Sh?jo and Sh?nen in 2015.

This years winners are:
Tokyo Revengers, Ken Wakui
Boku no Kimi no Taitetsu na Hanashi, Robico
The Blue Period, Tsubasa Yamaguchi


How do you feel about these winners? Would you like to see more categories?
 
I don't think I recognize any of those titles.
I would have thought shonen manga, might go to One piece or Boruto

Even I too don't have any idea. It is actually given to the authors for good Mangas.
