Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress anime discussion

Anyone watched this anime here?
It's about a typical zombie or ghoul like setting where the victims would become Kabane too. I have started watching it and it's full of gore ;_;

Watched it long ago back during the AoT hype, it was pretty good but I recall it not doing well towards the end.
