Judging a person.

I am not so sure.

It depends on the person. Chances for each person change, depending on our opinion about that person.
If we care about that person(a lot), I don't think, we will give him/her chances. We will keep on believing in them, hoping that they would change their behavior at some point.

Likewise, if we don't really care about that person, I doubt we give one more chance to him/her to prove themselves.

I judge a person based on what they do and hope to do, no better way to do it really.

Same. It's superficial to judge a person by his/her looks but people do it all the time. I try not to do it personally, but it takes time to really know a person.
