Do you think he died at the end to meet friday? If he really cares that much about friday, why did he even allow him to die? And why did he kept calling him friday instead of his name?

The names are just totally weird. Who would name an anime character as Friday anyway? It's got low score may be it's not worth watching.

i think he died because he couldn't get his friend's soul back and his friend died to help with his experiment.
i never liked the ending.
