Personally I thought the first half was boring and dragged out, and they rushed the last few episodes. For the fans of the VN, it was because they tried shoving in stuff from the other routes into 25 episodes, instead of just focusing in on just the Fate route.

I didn’t know you were talking about Fate. It was the only show from them I hear people complain about
 
They can be hit or miss and when animation in their shows go wrong oh boy do they go horribly wrong(SDS S3). But I've only watched their good ones and they have great to decent animation(Kono Suba, Sakamoto, etc). Except Higurashi which has some hilarious moments.
 
Their animation is kinda sloppy but IMO that can add a level of charm to it. But their adaption of Umineko's Question arcs was so poorly received they never even bothered to adapt the Answer arcs.

Not really it's probably due to budget and time constraints. I'm sure they have a lot of talent.

it was my first adventure into the fate series so I thought it was good, but can understand if source material was botched.
 
I don't follow Fate series all that much
Still, from what I did watch it's not that bad. So, I am sure it's not studio's fault here.
 
that's cool lol
but i am sure usually people have biased opinions when it comes to anime and i enjoyed t before the rider stuff.
