Is Shounen and Fan service anime ruining anime??

they are all too popular if you think about it and do you think they are ruining anime?
 
They are something.
I am sure they are not too overrated but it all depends on the anime fans as well.
 
that's true lol
and i am sure there can be drawbacks and fairy tail failed. it couldn't hold onto it's shonen-aspect
