Is listening to OP and ED song in anime automaticly makes you into JPop/JRock?

I can say for sure since listening to the first opening to Gundam Wing way back in 1997 that I've been a fan of jpop/jrock and other asian type songs. I find they have more soul to them unlike western songs.
