Is having a waifu necessary to enjoy anime more?

what do you think? i am sure it's not necessary and all.
so what do you all think? do you think one should have a waifu or husbando to enjoy an anime?
 
Not at all, I wouldn't have any for the majority of animes I've enjoyed.
I guess its true liking a character a lot will help someone enjoy an anime more, but it's not necessary for liking it in the first place
 
cool lol and none of the members here give more attention to wifus and i am glad to know that.
i know people who drop an anime, when they can't find any anime character who they like.
