Is bankai the ultimate transformation?

I have always had this doubt in my mind.
So, do you really believe that the bankai is the ultimate transformation?
As for me, I don't think so. At some point, it can evolve even further, as kubo might want to make ichigo more powerful just like kishimoto did to naruto.
 
Not necessarily.
If kishimoto wants, he can create another level by stating it as a special case.

Kishi would do something like that, but thankfully he doesn't do the Bleach manga (he's the naruto creator). I really don't see Tite Kubo pulling out another whole new level at this stage of the manga.
 
it's not a question anymore. it's the ultimate transformation but it never applies to main characters and that could gain more and more strength from nothing
