Is anime's only job is to show good animation?

No it's not and a good animation can't make up for a bad story no matter how much it struggles.
It's hard to like an anime.
 
No, there are a lot of other merits to go into making an anime good - animation is just one of them (though it's often what would initially draw me in).
 
I don't think so
Every anime needs good animation, story and character development. Music and everything else would come after these things.
 
music is cool star and you are right it doesn't make up for the character development
people really needs to understand that part more.
