Without heart a human is just cold mechine. Yup this is the main theme of Inu Yashiki.
Written by the same author of Gantz, this manga have different kind of vibes with Gantz, it have more subtle psychological and drama flavor and somehow it feel more 'homey'. Brutal death, crazy action and fan service are tone down drastically but as exchange for that we got complex characters to enjoy in Ichiro Inuyashiki and Hiro Shisigami.
Just like Gantz, pace in this series bit fast in the early chapters and still give confusing effect to reader but as the story progressed everything will neatly revealed. In Inu Yashiki there are lot of dramatic scenes and some of it are heart warming, kinda cool for building our mood.
Of course the series have some flaws, like there is no explanation why alien comes to earth in the early story. And somehow.. i think the story will be perfect if the last meteor arc have some connection with the arrival of the aliens.
Overall this is a good manga that will make you think a lot about human, heart and feelings.
