If zoro gets a devil fruit power...

Let's just go to imaginary world for a bit.

Now if Zoro gets a devil fruit power, can he defeat luffy?
Also, what do you think, is the best power, for zoro? Also, will luffy die without zoro rescuing him from time to time?

Zoro's speed in water is on par with Fish-men and Mer-men...........And, he is fast in land, extremely skilled with swords, has a lot of enduring power, and of course, you can't land a surprise attack on him.........In my opinion, he is already almost as strong as Luffy, if not as strong or more...........So, he will become over-powered if he eats a devil fruit...........
