idea for stopping spammers

I don't know about making websites and controlling but i have a good idea how to stop spammers

when a new member registers he cant post anything(let me call it mute).He should contact admin to remove his mute by doing this there would be 99.9% chances of stopping spammers

old forum i was part of you had to apply for a user group that allowed you to visit/see all threads

Yep. Email activation wasn't working when I created my account. So, it was activated manually.

captcha is the best idea atm

also the current spams should be manually deleted by the admins

I see a lot of such spam posts and threads
this is a new forum thats why its happening

Thanks I really am fed up of these spammers. My spam box is always full

kick them out and ban them.
there is no other way to stop them and i don't see many spammers and we shouldn't worry about them.
