I don't like Rock Lee

Yes you read that right. I don't like Rock Lee. Why? Simple, i don't like his character design

Rock Lee.. just look at his hair, eyes, eyebrows, face. I mean.. The Beatles hairstyle, found eyes, thick eyebrows, everything about his design is just silly, he struck an impression of a humor character to me at the beginning of his introduction

Just compare him to Neji, Kiba, Shino, Shikamaru, i can tell that this Lee guy is a joker by his design alone (along with Choji). And for your info, i have low opinion to humor-looking character 

In his defense some people might be say that the design match his personality, his background story or whatever, and try to point out his power, speed, eight gates  and the other stuff. But.. first impression is important, he looks like a joke/humor character and i have problem with that

Note : Same thing happened with Saitama

That's one of the worst reasons to hate him honestly. I would argue that his design makes sure our expectations are subverted and we are taken by surprise in one of the most iconic scenes in shounen anime history happens: when Lee drops his weights and starts fighting Gaara.
As for Saitama his plain appearance is part of the story itself, he's so bland everyone thinks he's weak and no one expects him to do anything. It's actually a reflection of people who judge based on appearances.

Then I'm not sure why you are curious about One Punch Man. It's basically a satire of Japanese work culture and shounen anime. It's pretty goofy. Simultaneously it has great character design, artwork and amazing animation.

wouldn't that matter at all? i don't understand this but i think it's your own taste. to each their own
