Good series have solid backstory, exciting main story and free imaginative future. Neon Genesis Evangelion is one of them. So today i want to give highlight about backstory of Evangelion.
It was said that 4 billion years ago, the Ancestral Race create seed of life in order to preserve their own physical species somewhere in the other place on the universe when they realized that their world is in brink of destruction. 7 carrier of life were created and send through out the space to reach different destination (two seed can't exist on the same place). Two of them are Adam (white moon) and Lilith (black moon).
Adam landed on earth, and was going to spread seed of life on earth. But before Adam-based life form could established, there was an accident. Lilith crash landed on earth too and destroyed the control system of life producing mechanism (Spear of Longinus), so Adam's spear took initiative to ceased his seed. The result is Adam's remain hibernating for billion of years meanwhile seed of Lilith (human) develop and prosper. Later on human discovered Adam and thus the main story of Evangelion begin..
Interesting back story, it explain the existence of Angel on the series
