How long would you remember an anime character if they die?

I would remember them if they are a significant part of the story but that doesn't happen often man.
So I will probably go with a week to month here
 
If i like that character i'd remember them for a good while, if i don't care or just don't like em i forget em the next day

i thought you would change your username but you never did and by that alone i can understand how much you liked ace

Absolutely ace has had one of the biggest impacts in anime for me. just the overall character
 
I wouldn't say I remember a lot of characters like that.
It depends on the character's importance in the story

i can understand that feeling all too well.
to be honest i was disappointed with that war. there was no meaning behind it and ace, white beard and many others died for nothing

yea pretty much, i think it was also used to introduce shank's crew fully
