How do you deal with troublesome members?

There are some members who are really difficult to deal with.


How do you deal with them? Can you accept not-at-all-real-criticism, just to please that user?

As for me, I kinda ignore them. There is no point in taking them seriously after all.
 
I did not get your question..........Why do I have to please a troublesome user? Are you asking this as an admin or as a member?
 
depends on what they are doing, I would most likely either warn them to stop it or just ban them and be done with it.

Warn them politely......Then, warn them...........Then, take some action against them..........
 
Basically, I warn them first if their behavior is disruptive to the forum. Afterwards, if it continues then I think it's necessary to issue a ban.
 
Have a personal discussion with them, and if they keep acting up then ban them. They won't change if they dont listen to your initial concern.
