How did you start to look at anime?

i don't remember lol
and i think i had watched some anime without knowing they were anime, and slowly became an anime fan
 
Was back in Elementary School. One of the kids in the class invited some of us over for a party, and that is when I got introduced to Dragon Ball Z. It hadn't gotten too terribly into the show yet at the time, and they had just started on the Frieza Saga. Was able to easily catch up with the standard kids cartoon networks, to figure out what was going on, with the Adult Swim episodes that were airing.

Nice story and memory
 
I first lookout for the synopsis. If the story seems good to me, then only I go for watching it. Otherwise I skip the anime.

Haha. I was like everything that is animated is cartoon. Well, later when I learnt about the Animes, I came to know about such things.
 
I had watched Princess Mononoke at a friends and fell in love with the animation so much i borrowed the VHS and watched it quite a bit, my friend told me there were more from the same people and i tried to get em

@blackrose yeah , but I think Animes have different category. These are normally different than cartoons, contains deep meaning and emotions. Cartoons are just for kids. :happy:
