How did you find your favorite anime?

I don't have a favourite.
Right now, I am following only One piece at the moment and someone recommended it to me. What about you guys?
 
By chance really. was checking through this anime app i have and i stumbled across Akame Ga Kill and though "that looks cool"

that's cool and i think if you keep watching, something will top that one. did you watch death note?
