How did you "discover" anime? At what point in your life did you discover anime?

I discovered anime when I was around ten years old. A friend introduced me to Inuyasha. I got curious and looked into it further.

Through my local channels on Tv. I was exposed to anime before I knew that was what it was called. Then my highschool friends introduced me to some of the basic terms and recommendations at the time. I watched some through cable Tv. (R.I.P. Locomotion)

I didn't think people would watch DBZ in an anime site.
Most of the DBZ series were aired and in fact they are even airing.
Looks like everyone started their anime with naruto here.
The first 220 episodes of naruto were good but slowly it went downhill.

Do you watch anime regularly?
Not many good anime are being aired in channels these days.

I discovered anime when I really little. I used to watch heidi and later pokemon, beyblade and finally found other good anime and called myself an otaku.

My sister introduced me to anime..... She was watching Naruto, and when she told me about it, I wasn't really interested in it, but, well, I watched it anyway, and I liked it.....

I remember once time waking up early and turned to Cartoon Network and there was Pokemon! So I watched it and played for a while, till I found YGO. After that, Pokemon became the red headed step child and got pushed aside. Funny thing is, I refused to get rid of my cards though. :P

i didn't discover anime by luck if i should say it's been intentional on my part. i first read manga and then learned about anime. after that i liked anime but manga is a lot more good.

I think my first "introduction" to Anima was Avatar the Last Airbender on Nickelodeon (if that even counts as Anime). I never really watched Pokemon other than a few times and never really got into the plot of it (even though the rest of my generation I feel like all had this phase).

This here made my day man.
Fate seems appropriate.

Well, I don't know how to answer this
Sometimes it's through reviews, ratings and such and sometimes it's through recommendations alone

No he's asking how you came to know about the existence of anime.

I use to watch anime like kenshin and yuh gioh when I was a kid but it's only recently when clara had invited me here that I really started to follow anime.
