So back last year when anime right stuf had their big anime sale I got a good deal on both seasons of this anime, one look at the trailer above showed me it looked really great with lots of action. While yes it was full of great characters and battles, I had no idea what the fuck was going on during the entire two seasons. Only way I enjoyed this was pretty much ignore most of what they were saying and just enjoying the battles.From what I gather this is based on a light novel series which the anime doesn't pick up at the start of them I believe, meaning a lot of terms are left out as well as needed explanations. Though if people want to get in on it there are blogs and websites full of info you will need: but you would need to do a lot of look up to get into this series.
The anime is a few years old and there is no sign of a 3rd season despite it doing well, most likely since the anime contains a lot of characters which the plot line goes at a fast pace making it a hard series to animate.Did I mention a lot of characters? I do mean A LOT of characters, this anime covers most anime type characters you can find. Yuri, undead, no boobs, law defying boobs, naked both genders, monsters, robots, giant robots, all weapons, uniforms, geeks, fat people, creepy people, cool people, and the list goes on and on.
So I both recommend and not recommend this anime. It's really good if you are willing to get fully into it but if you want a simple anime this isn't for you. Though I do recommend checking out the music used in this series.
