Hopeless fights in anime

Aren't there many hopeless fights man? Main protagonist would be barely managing and something else happens which make the anti protagonists even more powerful?
It's totally ridiculous man
 
Well, they are supposed to be rather exciting and should leave you  when anxiousness.
I suppose that's a bit far-fetched most of the time
 
no matter what comes, it is to reveal things about the main protagonist.
don't think about these much and enjoy the show
 
I feel Hunter X Hunter does a good job at this, there was a few fights that made it clear near the end it was hopeless from the start.

I agree man.
That ant arc gave off that feeling a lot. It's been hopeless but it ended sadly

The highlight of that arc has to be Poor Man's Rose as far as hopeless fights.

A few other fights in Hunter x Hunter 2011 and Naruto are hopeless as well.
But I think the best ones are in JoJo, characters literally have to claw their way out to even stay alive, and a lot of times they end up getting killed or losing body parts.
 
i always thought ichigo would lose with his fight against aizen.
he was too strong and everything happened that followed his revealings are just as bad

I keep forgetting Madara's battle against the small fry. That was one sided.

Yeah that came to my mind immediately. Caesar vs Wamuu from Battle Tendency came to my mind as well but that was evenly matched for the most part.
